My name is Walter Schmidt, I began this business when a degenerative eye disease made it impossible for me to continue working in the "real" world. I couldn't just sit around and collect disability so I decided to try the internet and LeatherPaks is the result. ** Leather is a natural material and variation in grain is normal. Our hand staining techniques impart a beautiful richness to the leather and some slight color variation is to be expected. Most surface dirt can be removed with a fine, damp cloth. Natural oils in the leather will help buff out small scuffs. Just rub gently with your finger. Treat your leather accessories with a leather conditioner every 6 months to maintain suppleness and flexible and avoid drying and cracking.
